Last Updated: July 16, 2026Welcome to RiderBook. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the RiderBook software application and associated services.
RiderBook is a software product owned, developed, and operated by softnent. By accessing or using RiderBook, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. Do not continue to use RiderBook if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and subscribing to RiderBook, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use RiderBook. The service is strictly intended for independent commercial drivers, taxi owners, fleet operators, auto-rickshaw drivers, and delivery partners acting in a professional capacity.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must register for an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscription Rules & Payment Terms
RiderBook operates on a paid subscription model after the initial free trial (if applicable). We offer subscription plans for the following durations:
- 1 Month
- 3 Months
- 6 Months
- 1 Year
- 2 Years
Payment Processing: All payments are securely processed via Cashfree Payments. RiderBook does not capture, store, or transmit your credit card details, debit card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or net banking passwords. Subscriptions are activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation from Cashfree.
No Auto-Renewal: Currently, subscriptions do not automatically renew. You will be required to manually renew your subscription upon expiry to continue using the premium features of RiderBook.
5. Failed Payments & Suspension
If a payment fails or is rejected by Cashfree Payments, your subscription will not be activated. If an active subscription expires and is not manually renewed, access to premium features (including adding new trips and generating new invoices) will be suspended until payment is made. You will still have read-only access to your historical data.
6. Driver Responsibilities & Business Use
RiderBook is exclusively a software utility designed for business and accounting management. We do not act as a taxi service, transport provider, or fleet dispatcher. You are entirely responsible for:
- Your vehicle's maintenance and compliance with local transport laws.
- Your interactions and contractual agreements with your own clients and passengers.
- Any disputes arising from the services you provide using RiderBook as an organizational tool.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RiderBook to:
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or destructive code.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the application.
- Use the software for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, softnent owns the intellectual property rights for all material on RiderBook. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access RiderBook for your own personal business use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall softnent, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of RiderBook. RiderBook is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the software will be completely error-free.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
