RiderBook is a software product owned, developed, and operated by softnent. By using RiderBook, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you create an account, we may collect identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture. This is required to identify you within the platform.

Vehicle Information

For the purpose of fleet and trip management, you may input vehicle details such as license plate numbers, vehicle type, and insurance expiry dates.

Business Information

We store the business data you input, including trip records, client names (for invoicing purposes only), expenses, and total earnings. This data is strictly yours and is stored solely to provide you with the RiderBook utility.

Payment Information

RiderBook does not store sensitive payment details. When you purchase a subscription, payments are securely processed by our authorized third-party payment gateway, Cashfree Payments. We do NOT collect, store, or process your Debit Card Number, Credit Card Number, CVV, UPI PIN, Internet Banking Passwords, or Bank Credentials. We only store transaction metadata provided by the gateway, such as Payment ID, Order ID, Transaction Reference, Subscription Plan, Payment Status, Payment Date, and Invoice Number.

Device & Analytics Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the App. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, and information about how and when you use our App.

2. How We Use Data

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process.
  • To provide and maintain the RiderBook Service.
  • To process your subscription payments securely via Cashfree Payments.
  • To send administrative information, such as updates to terms, conditions, and policies.
  • To deliver user support and respond to inquiries.
  • To generate personalized analytics and reports on your dashboard.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

Specifically, we share necessary transaction data with Cashfree Payments exclusively for processing subscription fees, resolving payment disputes, and ensuring payment security.

4. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure.

5. User Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

Upon account deletion, your personal and business data will be removed. However, some billing and legal records (such as invoices and transaction references) may be retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

6. Cookies (Website)

If you access RiderBook via a web browser, we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to access or store information, ensuring smooth navigation and maintaining your session state.

7. Children's Privacy

RiderBook is intended for commercial drivers and business professionals. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
